Activity and involvement are vital to the life of a church. At First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights we are privileged to have many opportunities for growth and fellowship, and we encourage members and friends to become involved in the groups and organizations within the church. In addition to our elected boards (the church session, the board of deacons and the board of trustees) the chancel choir, Christian education program, Youth Fellowship, Presbyterian Women, Men’s Fellowship. a knitting group, and various committees offer a warm welcome to anyone who might be interested in participating.

The church schedule includes annual events such as blood drives sponsored by the board of deacons, a Crop Walk, and a Thanksgiving dinner on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving Day.
